  1. Take a bowl wash and soak chana dal for 5-6 hours.
  2. Take a mixture jar and crush the dal put 2 tbs water as required and crush it.
  3. Add salt, garlic-ginger paste, lemon juice and eno and stir it well.
  4. Take a cooker or steamer and put water at the bottom, and boil it. After that grease the plate and add the batter on it.
  5. Keep it in medium low flame and boil it for 45 minutes. After once it gets cool then do pieces for khaman.
  6. For tempering: take a pan and add oil, mustard seeds, sesame seeds, greenchilly, turmeric, curry leaves, water and sugar and mix It.
  7. After that add khamni on it. And mix it well. And the sev khamni is ready. Enjoy.
