Instructions to make Mandazi:
  1. Assemble all your ingredients
  2. Mix the flour,1 tablespoon cinnamon,4 tablespoon of sugar, 1 teaspoon baking powder,and lemon rind.
  3. Add 2 tablespoon of margarine to the mixture,and blend it in the mixture so well…
  4. Add the maziwa mala and start kneading
  5. Knead until the mixture is soft…and cover with a wet cloth for atleast 30 mins..
  6. Roll out the dough,and cut into desired shape and sizes
  7. Bring the oil to appropriate temperature,and add the cut out dough..Cook until golden brown..
  8. Set aside the mandazis for them to cool,and serve ๐Ÿ˜‹

Mandazi originates from East African Coast areas and is very popular in the East African region. Everyone is as confused as i am about the name.
