- Since I couldn’t access store bought canned tomatoes, I bought regular tomatoes and boiled them. After boiling, peel of the skin and slice
- Slice the garlic and onions
- Fry the diced garlic and onions in melted butter. You can use olive oil instead
- Add the minced meat, add a little seasoning to the meat and keep stirring until the meat turns brown. Remember to keep staring to keep the minced meat separated
- Add the diced peppers
- Add the diced tomatoes and the tomato paste
- Stir together, add the wine just about three tablespoons, bay leaf. Cover up, reduce heat and let cook for about thirty minutes
- Add 3/4 of the cheese at this point if you like, cover up for another five minutes and then serve.
- I served with boiled spaghetti. I didn’t have a grater so I just cut the remainder of the cheese on top. Bon appetit
